Project Description:

Solution 4 Building was engaged as the head contractor by the City of Stirling to complete the alteration and upgrade works at Jim Satchell Community Centre.

  • Extension of building to the existing front entrance to create new shower and sanitary facilities block including accessible facilities all in accordance with National Building codes.  A new exit corridor was created to the eastern facade of the new wet area block (including new exit signs throughout)
  • Refurbishment of the existing kitchen area.  The kitchen comprised of non-commercial oven, new benches, storage cupboards and fridge.
  • Removal of line marking, stripping and sealing of floor in the hall amenity.  New bay lighting and ceiling tiles replaced as required.  Removal of film and cleaning to existing high-level windows improving natural light within the hall
  • Refurbishment of meeting and activity room including installation of retractable partition wall between the two and replacement of floor finishes and kitchenette to both rooms.  Removed existing air-conditioning and heating to meeting and activity rooms and supplied and installed new
  • Supplied new tables and chairs, sound system to hall, audio system to meeting and activity room and provision for projector (connection and cabling), demountable/portable stage and signage
  • Provided and improved shelving system to each storeroom within the facility
